Three things you can do today

  1. Learn the siren signals. There are three, and each needs a different response: warning signals.
  2. Pack a 72-hour kit. Water, food, medicines, documents, cash, a battery radio: the list.
  3. Agree a family plan. Where you meet if phones don't work, and who you call outside town: family plan.

Each topic passes on the official guidance of the Croatian Civil Protection Directorate, the siren regulation and the European Commission, condensed and in one place. The sources are at the foot of every page, with the date they were last checked. Most of them are in Croatian only, which is why this English version exists.
